Copying and Installing the emWave program to a USB Thumb Drive

Jun 07, 2018

Just as an FYI for you. It might be easier to go to www.heartmath.com/downloads to get the latest, fully updated version of the emWave program. Use the Registration Number that you already have and download it into your computer. HeartMath allows 4 instances of installation.

Copying:

Insert the Thumb Drive Removable Disk into a USB Port on your computer.
It is not advised to use a Keyboard or Monitor USB Port, use one on the actual computer.

  • Click - Computer, C Drive, Program Files (x86) , HeartMath file.
  • Locate the emWave or emWave2 program folder.
  • Click and Drag the folder into the Removable Disk (E: F: etc. whatever is the name of the removable disk).

The emWave program folder will begin to copy onto the Thumb Drive.
When it finishes, close all screens and remove the drive.

Retrieving the File:

Insert the Thumb Drive Removable Disk into a USB Port on your computer.
Once again it is not advised to use a Keyboard or Monitor USB Port, use one on the actual computer.

  • Click - Computer to view the Removable Disk drive.
  • Double click to open the drive and view the emWave program folder.
  • Click and drag the folder out onto the desktop.

Once the folder has finished copying to that location, close the Removable Disk screen and take the removable drive out of the computer.

Installation :
You must have Administrator Privileges to install this program on the computer.

  • To begin the installation - Click - Computer, C Drive, Program Files (x86).
  • Click and drag the emWave folder into the Program Files.

Open the emWave folder and locate the .exe file and double click to begin the installation process. The first screen you’ll see is the one asking for the Registration number. You will need this number in order to proceed. The number is located on the back side of the original documentation that came with the emWave program.
