Feb 03, 2020How Does HeartMath’s Affiliate Program Work?
The affiliate program allows participating websites and blogs to earn commission on sales referred to HeartMath through posted links or banners on your website or, including them in e-mails sent to clients. Our program runs on the Rakuten Affiliate Marketing platform and is managed by Advertise Purple.
Who can be an affiliate?
Anyone can apply to HeartMath’s affiliate program, but HeartMath reserves the right to review, reject, or accept any application for any reason. Rakuten Affiliate Marketing requires that affiliates have a valid website address and a valid e-mail address to join. If you do not have a website, you can use the URL for your personal social media page instead.
How do I join the program?
HeartMath’s affiliate program is hosted on the Rakuten Affiliate Marketing platform. Joining Rakuten Affiliate Marketing is free. Once you are approved by Rakuten Affiliate Marketing, you can search for HeartMath and apply to participate in our affiliate program. After we accept your application, you’ll have access to current and upcoming banners and links, which you can then post on your website or blog or include in an email. You earn a commission on any sales driven through those links.
Does it cost me anything to become HeartMath’s affiliate?
No, you simply apply for the program.
What is the commission rate?
We pay starting at 10% commission. Special promotions and private offers may be available. HeartMath certified professionals receive an additional commission. Please contact us at [email protected] if you think you qualify.
Yes. The default setting for commission payment is $50. You can either accept the $50 threshold or change it when you set up your Rakuten account. You’ll find this option within the marketing channel settings in your account on the Rakuten platform.
When do I receive my commission payment?
All affiliate commissions are approved for payment by HeartMath at the beginning of each month for orders placed during the previous month. Rakuten issues payment within 30 days.
How do I receive my commission payment?
The first commission payment is always a physical check. You have the option of changing to another method, including direct deposit or PayPal, after you have received and processed your first payment.
Are websites outside the US eligible?
All affiliate promotional assets are directed to either the www.heartmath.com or www.heartmath.org online stores, so orders are processed and shipped from the United States. At this time, certain regions where there is a HeartMath alliance, may be excluded. For more information, please contact us directly at [email protected].
How do I access banners and links to HeartMath’s site products?
When you join Rakuten Affiliate Marketing and are approved for the HeartMath affiliate program, you will gain access to a creative library that includes our most up-to-date and seasonal banners, product images, and text links.
Why was my application declined?
There are several reasons why the Rakuten system might automatically decline an application. If you receive a notification that your application was declined or that HeartMath rejected your application, please contact us at [email protected]. Include your name, e-mail address and Site ID number (see the top right-hand side of your screen after logging into your Rakuten account) in all communication.
