In 1999 HeartMath introduced the first affordable consumer stress-reduction product using our patented heart rhythm feedback, called Freeze-Framer^®. Our focus on heart rhythm feedback provided a refreshing departure from conventional practices, and has since been adopted by more than ten thousand health professionals worldwide as an effective and invaluable tool for people suffering from stress-related issues. In 2006, a second generation product was released with emWave^® Personal Stress Reliever, a handheld heart rhythm feedback device about the size of an iPod. Then in 2007, the Freeze-Framer was upgraded and re-branded as emWave PC Stress Relief System.
