Yes, that is a bit confusing. The lit lights refers to the number of the brighter lit lights that accumulate at the bottom of the Heart Action Strip as you complete reward cycles.

As you are in medium or high coherence your emWave will accumulate little bars of light until they reach the top of the Heart Action Strip. You'll hear the reward sound (3-tones) and then these lights will disappear, except for the bottom one, it will become brighter. This signifies one reward cycle. So these are the lights that are meant in the tracker.
