Health Professional Phone Speaker Series
To find out how other health professionals are using the emWave® PC Stress Relief System (formerly Freeze-Framer®) and the emWave® Personal Stress Reliever program with their clients, join a 1-hour phone call, one Saturday a month. The call is 11:00 am - 12:00 noon California time.
The speakers in the 2008 series are:
- March 15: Phil Pappas, Ph.D., Furlong, PA
Dr. Pappas is in private practice in Pennsylvania and is the director of The Institute of Weight Management and Health, a training and research organization that certifies weight loss professionals. He provides exercise, nutritional, and stress management services to clients with many serious medical conditions including, heart disease, diabetes, and obesity related conditions. He will discuss how he uses the emWave technologies with clients for weight loss and stress management.
- April 26: Myron Thurber, Ph.D., Spokane, WA
Dr. Thurber is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Physical Therapist in private practice in Washington. He has experience counseling individuals, groups, families, and children in private practice, in an outpatient service setting and through a rehabilitation hospital. He has also worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings as a physical therapist since 1987. He will discuss how he uses the emWave technologies with a variety of physical and mental health issues.
