Reducing Stress and Creating Better Health,
a HeartMath® Clinical Program for Case Workers and Staff

Overview

Reducing Stress and Creating Better Health is a telephone-based program that offers clinics and health care organizations practitioner instruction, technologies and resources to reduce staff stress and to teach patients HeartMath’s stress reduction and emotional self-regulation skills.

The program is designed for up to 25 participants who may then teach the remaining staff the HeartMath tools and how to use the emWave® technologies both personally and professionally. How to written instructions are provided for your entire staff as well as additional free, telephone-based orientation sessions for both the emWave Desktop and emWave 2®.

The program includes HeartMath’s research on how emotions impact Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and it’s relationship to stress, health and performance; hands-on training in how to use the emWave® technologies both personally and with patients; training in HeartMath techniques and how to minimize caregiver fatigue and burnout.

Practitioner Instruction

Consists of three (3) telephone-based training sessions

Session One: Two hours — up to 25 practitioners; includes:

1. Introduction to Heart Rate Variability — research and physiology.
2. Introduction to the Quick Coherence® technique.
3. Hands-on training in how to use the emWave technologies personally and with patients.

Session Two: One hour; includes:

a. Follow-up and additional instruction in the uses and
applications in the workplace and at home of the Quick Coherence technique.
b. Questions and Answers stemming from practice with the technology and the technique.

Session Three: One hour; includes:

1. How to Minimize Caregiver Fatigue and Burnout — a main source of stress for caregivers and case workers; tools and strategies to reduce and create a climate of care and support for all staff and patients.

Clinical Program also includes emWave Desktop and emWave2 technology products and resource materials.
